Common Core and PARCC Information Meeting

For the safety of our children please remember not to park along yellow lines and have your child exit the car at the curb. 

Thanks for your continued cooperation keeping the gate area clear during drop off in the morning.  Please remember that students should not arrive before 8:30AM.  If dropping off by car, please pull all the way up, have the children exit the car curbside and carefully drive away.  Thanks for your help keeping the children safe!

The busy month of December is upon us.  Below is a list of some important upcoming events:




12/8     PTG Holiday Gift Card Orders DUE!


12/9     Choir and Band rehearsal for concert.  Information posted on our eBoard


12/10   Holiday concert for students 9:20 at Atlantic Avenue.  We will travel by bus.  Evening concert for parents, family and friends at 7:00PM.


12/9-12/11 Holiday Shop for students.  Schedule posted on eBoard.  Shop will be open Tuesday and Wednesday after school.  Originally, we said Thursday, but we need to close the shop after lunch and recess on Thursday.


12/11    Report Card Day!


12/12    Toys for Tot pick-up.  All donations due by today.


12/16     Hanukkah begins at sundown.  Happy Hanukkah!


12/22     Teddy Bear pick-up


12/22     Staff Holiday Breakfast.  If you are able to volunteer to help monitor the schoolyard from 8:30-8:40,                    please let me know.


12/23     Holiday Assembly 9:00  Parents welcomed.  Seating is limited.


12/24-1/4  Winter Break  Happy Holidays!

The Haddon Heights School District Grounds Department will be applying fertilizer and herbicide to the lawns and playing fields during the month of May. The application(s) will take place on weekends (weather permitting). Information and M.S.D.S. materials may be obtained by contacting me at the Administration Building located at:

Kindergarten Registration for the 2014–2015 School Year

Kindergarten Registration will be held on Thursday, February 13th at Glenview Elementary School from 9:00am to 11:00am. Please click here for more detailed information and required forms.  If there is inclement weather on February 13th and school is closed, the postponement date will be February 20, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am.


Aftercare Opportunities

Kindergarten Aftercare is available from 11:30AM until 3:00 PM.  If interested, please stop in to register. Registration forms are available at school. Space is limited. The Program begins on September 9th.

A YMCA Aftercare Program is available from 3:00PM until 6:30PM.  Call Danielle at (609)543-6200 x 306 for more details. Students are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Danielle will inform you of prices and availability. More info is located by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.  The Program is available the first day of school.
